Yay.....

I am now an official spectrum noir colorist.

Quilting

Thanks yo crafters companion I have found a new hobby

After the project something new to you where I rediscovered my sewing machine I found a new love for quilting so I created this quilt for my nursery school where I work.

 I even tried out free motion quilting.

For the lettering I used Debbie Shores alphabet sewing templates.

Crafters companion set a project for all of us on the Inspirers design team

Make something new to you.

I was a little daunted by this theme at first, I thought yes I will get my dusty old sewing machine out and have a go at making something......

Mmmmmm where would I start

After all the sewing machine and I have never seen eye to eye.

Anyway I took a trip to crafters companions shop in Newton Aycliffe

Looked at all the fabric available to me.

I fell in love with this fat quarter pack inspired by Debbie Shore as the colours were gorgeous

Pack of six  fat quarter fabrics with hues of green, grey and coral Made by Threaders.
